Fish Out Of Water is the award winning, third single and title track off bluesman and multiple ARIA nominee, Ash Grunwald’s fourth studio album, Fish Out Of Water.
It is a lurching, rock n roll follow up to the radio hit, Break Out (#50 in JJJ’s Hottest 100 2008), produced by TZU’s Counterbounce and will be available as a digital download from April 8th.
A song about a young man stuck within the claustrophobic confines of the city, dreaming of the open road and finally deciding to fly the coup and get the hell outta there!
Fish Out Of Water was recently awarded Song Of The Year at the 2009 Blues Music Chain Awards.
Ash is currently touring through the UK and will return to Australia in April for a run of shows.
He will be joined on the road by Kanchana Karunaratna on electro beats and ethnic percussion, and Benny Owen playing the Car Door and other Junk percussion for shows on the East Coast and will tackle WA solo.
