Kev Carmody Joins The Drones Tour
Due to unforeseen circumstances USA punk hero’s Qui have had to cancel their Australian run with The Drones. So, the band grabbed the opportunity and invited the incredibly talented Kev Carmody to come along for the ride!
Since the release of his first album, Pillars Of Society, described in Australian Rolling Stone, as "the best album ever released by an Aboriginal musician and arguably the best protest album ever made in Australia". Kev Carmody has established himself as one of the most respected singer/songwriters in the country. He will join The Drones for their Melbourne and Sydney shows.
The Drones will also be joined by special guests and Melbourne locals Witch Hats.
The Drones are no strangers to rave reviews, darlings of music critics here at home, they have been winning some critical hearts in the USA during their current tour, thanks to the release of their AMP nominated LP Havilah and some very talked about showcase gigs at SXSW.
