While Augie March are creating their fourth LP, we have a special treat for you. “We're several days into recording and starting to get a handle on it.  Being as a couple of members have commitments at home we're tailoring things to accommodate.  Drum and bass sounds are taking up the bulk of the day followed by live takes till its right.  Not terribly dissimilar to previous experiences but you'll be pleased to know everything you hear of a meat and potatoes 5 piece band nature is live in the studio.  Vocals will likely have to wait till the end, so no Parnell benders for singer bloke. 

Not a lot else to tell at this point.  Staving off studio sickness is a priority, as is tackling tedium.  The fun starts when the basic tracks are done but that's a way off.  Tend to dream a lot in the house - a couple of recent examples - of being chased by a headless robot who wanted my head, and losing a major golf championship on the last putt and seeing Pat Cash, my caddy, break down in tears on the green. 

Enjoying Auckland, it's like a big Hobart, full of suxy people and hulls.  Inyways, hev a bung on a bug spluff for us and if you're going tramping remimber to tull a bro.”
