Following the great reception of the single, Wide Open Rivers, from the debut solo album, Into The Rain, Felix Riebl would like to announce his Into The Rain National Tour.
Felix has made a name for himself by being one of the most enigmatic and energetic front men in modern Australian music, as part of the multi-platinum selling outfit, The Cat Empire. In 2011 he will add a new string to his bow, with the release of his expansive solo record Into The Rain, in store July 15th.
Into The Rain is an intricate storytelling voyage, which marks the evolution of a truly unique songwriter.
Some of Australia’s most talented musicians joined Felix in the studio to make the album, Danny Farrugia (The Bamboos); drums, Ryan Monro (The Cat Empire); bass, Ben Grayson (The Bamboos); organ, and also Ben Edgar (Washington); acoustic, electric and slide guitars. Those musicians will also perform in the live touring line up.
Brisbane singer songwriter Ben Salter (Giants of Science, The Gin Club) is joining Felix on the road, giving people a preview of material from his forthcoming debut solo album.
